— Me and My ISP

I am having problems with my net since 2-3 days, so yesterday i called youtelecom(my isp) CC for the same.

Below is the transcript of the conversation between me and navneet(girl CC executive)

navneet: hello how can i help you..

sunny: yar net ki speed bahut slow hai.

navneet: accha

sunny: accha nahi bahut bura

navneet: yes sir i am checking ur modem status.

sunny: ok go on do it.

navneet: sir your modem is online and well connected too.

sunny: well yar fir itni slow speed kyu aarhi hai.

navneet: sir aapka plan 512kbps ka hai, website khulne mae kitna time lagati hai.

sunny: yar yeh smjh lou webpage open karou chai coffee bna lou tab tak khul jati hai..

navneet: i am realy sorry sir, can you tell me your operating system.

sunny: yes y not its ubuntu.

navneet: no no sir i want to know your operating system.

sunny: ok yar its linux

navneet: NO sir aap smjh nahi rhey hai your operating system please

sunny: ok you mean version right

navneet: yes sir

sunny: ok its ubuntu 9.04

navneet: NO SIR, ok leave it just open my computer

sunny: arey y r u shouting, its me not you who should shout and there is nothing called my computer on my OS.

navneet: sir because you are not telling me your Operating system. ok let me make it more clear, listen carefully is it XP, Vista Or windows 7?

sunny: ok now you listen carefully sweetheart why dont you just google and get some info about OS’s other than Shit Windows. My os is not xp or vista and neither its windows 7 but its Ubuntu. For your information i am a computer engg. and i know what is a Operating System. but with all due respect can u pass my call to some one else preferably a male so that i can shout on him.

Then I had a talk with other some level 2 person but unfortunately I am still facing the same slow speed, hoping to get it rectified. Arey ek dum cheetah speed mil rahi hai aaj kal :D

  • lmfao oye sunny you should do speedtest.net and also have you tested other comps ?

    Make sure your router is good and has category 5e or category 6 ethernet cables

    Actually all of us are missing another interesting point. The help desk guys are able to get in to our DSL boxes remotely because by default they set them up as such. How much more effort needed for them to get in to our system? And then we read stories of online frauds and hacking.
    You get what you deserve.

    listen everything as if i am a windows user and then translating everything to linux instead of fucking with the person on the phone...
